I arrived at a high school game at half-time and saw one of the officials in the lobby. He was a friend, so I asked him how the game was going. He had T’ed up and ejected the visiting coach and several players in the first quarter. The coach asked him what the player had said to get the T and the ref replied, “I don’t use language like that.”
