   vldazzle… where I live the whole town goes to HS sports. Mostly football, but basketball also.

   And they all have used various seat-saving techniques over the years… Blankets duct-taped to the bleachers are popular for football games, coats and masking tape for events in the auditorium, like the prom grand march coming up in a few weeks!

   One of the few stories my father told me from WW 2 in Germany: Late in the war, going past a bombed house. A man came to them saying “Your bombs killed my wife!” My Dad told him “If you hadn’t said ‘Heil Hitler’ none of this would have happened”.
