Last may in an uncrowded area, I walked past 3 time Indy 500 winner Johnny Rutherford ; I didn’t ask for an autograph, just said “Hi, J.R!”
got the same result, except he just ignored me…
I would have thought the guy would have been happy that somebody remembered him, since he retired twenty years ago
