Let’s scrap the BCS system and quit the useless coronations. If the top 8 rated teams had a playoff, that would only be 3 more games to emerge as a champion. Surely, the best team in the country would be included in the top 8.

AND btw….in college football, winning isn’t winning unless you do it Stoops way. Risk your top players and run up the score. Winning by a few points is nothing (thanks Stoops for forever ruining the game) if you don’t win by at least 30-40 points you go down in the BSC standings. Go Oklahoma State.
Jealous much lakesnake? Actually looking at the rules and figuring out how to maximize your rating through scheduling then WINNING is not “ruining the game” – it’s playing the game.
I’d love to see a play off system where the smaller schools like a Boise State or a Fresno State could actually participate and go for the championship. That’s the American way, any citizen can run for President and any school should be able to vie for the championship. Just think of the 1980 Olympic hockey team. Miracles can happen.
