She knows that you’re nuts. (Yes, I know penuts are legumes. But nuts work in this case.)

    That vendor is “shell” shocked.

Boudreaux, Garcia, and Rosetti were washing windows on a tall building when they broke for lunch. Rosetti opened his lunchbox, looked in and said “Pasta. I’m so tired of pasta. If I get pasta tomorrow I don’t know what I’ll do. ” Garcia opened his lunchbox and said “Tamales. I’m so tired of tamales every day for lunch. I don’t know what I’ll do if I get tamales tomorrow.” Boudreaux opened his lunchbox and said “Seafood. I’m so tired of seafood. If I get seafood tomorrow I don’t know what I’ll do.” Next day, they take their lunch break, Rosetti opens his lunchbox and sees pasta and jumps off the scaffolding, killing himself. Garcia opens his lunchbox, sees tamales, and jumps off the scaffolding to his death. Boudreaux opens his lunchbox and sees seafood and jumps to his death as well. They held a common funeral for the three men, and Rosetti’s wife cries out “If I only knew he wanted something else, I’d have fixed it for him.” Garcia’s wife follows “I didn’t know that Garcia wanted something besides tamales or else I’d have fixed him something else.” Boudreaux’s wife just sits there and everyone is looking at her. She says “Don’t look at me, Boudreaux fixed his own lunch.”

There’s a message there. It’s what he gets for not getting up and fixing his own lunch.
