The sum total I know about poker comes exclusively from film and television. So it’s always mystified me why, when someone in a movie wins by convincing the other players he holds a hand of greater value when he actually doesn’t, the other players act indignant and get angry, as if the other guy somehow cheated. But isn’t that all just part of the game?
