We once had a young adult group meeting regularly. Some were married; some not. They were called “Pairs & Spares”. Kinda like socks in my drawer – most of the spares eventually became pairs.
I own 2 types of socks….black work socks and white tube socks. I have about 12 pairs of each. No individual matching required. I simply grab a couple of whichever type I need as needed. If a sock starts to get worn, throw it away. Once the numbers dwindle far enough, I buy 12 new pairs and replace them all.

Off topic, when did they move back into a house? Last I remember they were in a “mobile home”. Sure doesn’t look like one here.
