I noticed that too. I think it is the civilian clothes. (Which yesterday bother were in uniform in the office? Time moved on I guess). Have we ever seen the old man in civilian clothes, don’t remember it.

I agree about the civilian clothes. I had to go to a funeral for my uncle recently. One of my cousins is a police captain. Whenever there was a funeral, he would show up in his uniform because he had to go to work afterwards. At this funeral he actually wore a suit. It wasn’t until he identified himself to me that I then knew who he was. I blurted out to him that I didn’t recognize him in his “normal clothes”. He got a good laugh out of my reaction. We saw Crunchy in a suit at his wedding, but I guess that doesn’t really count.

I don’t remember seeing Chrunchy in civies either! – as to the teacher comment – I was one (and no one wants to see me in a bathing suit, for the record), and it is the same for us who teach at schools with uniforms – the kids look COMPLETELY different when you’re used to seeing them like that. One teacher ran into a student in the store and thought she graduated – not knowing that she was in THREE of her classes that year!
