Ok, now this strip has dived into the deep end of stupid.

Like Fonzie, it has clearly “jumped the snark.” With no need to do so.

I like this story line. Readers are getting alot of information about Carla, her sister, Ray’s dand and his mom. It’s like a puzzle coming together. Be patient….there has certainly been worse.

I don’t agree that the strip has jumped the shark but I’m getting a bit tired of the ancillary “Ray’s background” arc. Ray’s rehabilitation has been interesting and I think he’s a good addition to the strip. But, by diving this deeply into his background, the core elements of the strip have suffered. Is Ray’s dad alive? Is he Crunchy’s nephew by marriage? Is Ray’s mother crazy? Will we ever see Carla’s face? Frankly, I don’t care. I will come back when it’s time for Joe to bathe the kids or Sunny berates her lazy friend or Olivet sleeps in her uncle’s enormous hands.

I like this a lot.

I don’t mind this direction at all. It’s fun and creative, and in line with past dealings with the mysterious spy connection. Keep up the good work, Robb.
