Marcus can give Dana a free apartment, but as somebody pointed out yesterday, she’d never take it. She seems the type who’d hate charity. What you guys need to do is find her a job so she can earn the money for it.

Some people just do not make good servants.

The purpose of buying the building was to generate income separate from his uncertain future in sports with large, motivated men trying to hurt him. Turning it into a non-generating operation would negate the larger intent.

I can understand turning the homeless woman down. I and my sibling gearing up to do the same. Our dad died 17-years-ago, our mom almost 2-years-ago. Sibling did not want to sell, so work on the house to update to lease or rent. We grew up there, the house not the same.

There are serious problems with ownership, terms of occupancy, and eviction if you let someone move into a property without a formal lease.

So where is she now, if she couldn’t have the apartment?

Why would Dana move to L.A. where she doesn’t have a job or know anyone, except Ray? That is a bad decision.

I would venture a guess that Marcus is younger than Butch. That family dynamic does not necessarily go away as one ages.
