Al-Andalus, what the Muslim Moors called Espania. When the Moors were thrown out by the joined Christian Spanish Families in 1491, the very next year a fellow by the name of Cristobal Colombo needed backing to find a new passage to India. He took four voyages and failed each time. He did however found a new world, but never landed on it. He stayed in the Caribbean. He did figure out he could use the idyllic heaven on Earth that the natives lived in, turning them to work them to death in fine Christian fashion, killing millions eventually.
