Turkeys are not that stupid. Try to hunt one.In full camo in brush all I did was click off the gun safety. That damn bird heard it and ran off.The know to avoid the feeders. They can see you way before you see them. The know when it is hunting season before you do. See them all day and at the beginning of hunting season….try to find one.Ben Franklin recommended the turkey for our national bird for reasons like that.It might not write a novel but otherwise its a very clever bird.
