Who ever said Republicans hate babies? We tend to be huge fans of babies, especially the unborn ones. We just don’t believe in birthright citizenship and don’t believe that was anywhere near the intent of the 14th amendment.

Republicans - hot on the second amendment because it says exactly what it means, cold on the fourteenth because it obviously doesn’t mean what it says. Hot on the first amendment, but only when the government isn’t involved in the censorship. (Not a single protest when the government said that no one could show U.S. military caskets returning from Iraq, a tempest in a tea-pot whenever someone catches heck from the public for using the n-word…)

And yes, you do hate babies - you opposed s-chip on the grounds that providing medical care to poverty-level infants and children constitutes redistribution of wealth, which is more important than poverty-level children getting sick and dying because they don’t have access to health care.

B.S. - there’s not a single human being in this country that doesn’t have access to healthcare - just walk into any emergency room here in Southern California - Illegals have been using them for their primary care physicians for years.

Nobody in this country actually needs any social service. If social services didn’t exist (and taxes and budgets followed suit), people would find ways to meet their needs or there extended families would help. Maybe one less 48” flat screen in the house or maybe foregoing getting that sweet tattoo.

Are visiting aliens, both legal & illegal, subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S., or their countries that they are citizens of? Think about it.

Does being a citizen of a foreign country make a person immune to arrest?
