I’m guessing by “pulled by the bootstraps” Lalo means “latched on to a sugar daddy to pay for law school, then dumped him like yesterday’s trash after the last check cleared, then painted herself as someone that pulled herself up with no help from anyone, blah, blah”..At least Lalo is consistent, sucking up to Democrats (or paid by them).
