Cuco: Please stop making fun of billionaires. They are our most vulnerable citizens. Eddie: They are utterly defenseless. Ironically, their tears are magical and cure poverty.
yeah, that’s what you think about his humor just as long as Lalo’s views oppose your own.If Lalo’s comic serenaded the conservative viewpoint, you would think him hilarious.you’re not going to swing anybody to your point of view, and Lalo isn’t either.
Trickle down isn’t as new as it seems. There was the royal touch (also known as the king’s touch) whereby French and English monarchs would touch their subjects, regardless of social standing, with the intent to cure them of various diseases and conditions (but I don’t think financial success was included).
Nobody is going to save the Middle Class except the Middle Class. We are the 99%—- that means we have the votes to elect people who will actually represent middle class workers and provide a safety net for those who are trying to get into the middle class. We all need to know who is supporting which candidates. That is who they will be working for. They have no choice if they want to stay in office. You have to do the bidding of whoever who is paying your way, just the same as we all do in our jobs. So, before going to vote, look it up on the internet. Open Secrets is a good site, but there are plenty. If the candidate is getting their money from small donors or from unions, they are going to be working for middle class working people. If their donations are from corporationsor from 1%ers, don’t figure they are going to go against them and do anything for the middle class. It would be political suicide.
I agree with your assessment, Night-Gaunt49…I used to belong to the “middle-class,” albeit just barely, but now am most certainly not. Too many taxes and not enough income…that is, If one can Find a decent job anymore! (most of them are now overseas!). The middle-class canNot help themselves, DLee4144, as they have nothing to help themselves with… ;)
