Cuco: Happy Fourth of July. Eddie: Time to celebrate a country that gives everyone freedom. Cuco: Where Dick Cheney can enjoy his freedom to be wrong again, and again, and again.
Cheney was in the news recently for being critical of the current administration’s Iraq policy in a disingenuous way. It was mostly a gift to editorial cartoonists like Lalo.
Strange that America celebrates July 4th, 1775 when it was just wishful thinking. The Treaty of Paris, signed on September 3, 1783, ended the American Revolutionary War between Great Britain on one side and the United States of America on the other. France, Spain and the Dutch Republic had separate agreements. The territorial provisions were “exceedingly generous” to the United States in terms of enlarged boundaries.
The US Constitution has: “done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth In witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names”. 1775 it is!
And I, as with everybody here, have to seek Lalo out. Whenever Cheney pops up to lie to us, I have to change the channel to avoid his prevarications. And for this, someone truly deserving had his or her heart stolen for this old man, who would never even be on the list?
N-G, you’re forgetting, Muslim Terrorists have hated and butchered Infidels for ≈ 1500 years. They don’t need any modern complaint. Mohammed’s murderous, Mullahs intend to take over the world and don’t care who or how many, they kill. We can’t afford to spend too much time arguing among ourselves.

Not fair. Chaney has only been wrong one time. It started, to my knowledge, around 1995 and has continued uninterrupted to this date.
