Ernesto: My lawn has gone to heck and back! Eddie: Cousin Memo does lawns, Pops. Ernesto: No, Eddie, I need a quality landscape professional who I will have to beg to do the job for the prevailing wage. Eddie: Wait... a white guy? Ernesto: Like a landscaping polar bear.
Actually, since the economic downturn here, I see 6-8 landscape business trucks a day as they drive up and down our town’s streets. Their trucks and the trailers that carry the tools of their trade range anywhere from a real professional look to shabby imitations. And the professional-looking ones are not exclusively driven by Anglos… ;)
