There is a talk show on week nights on Estrella tv. The host is a large guy with a clown wig and make-up. I watch it sometimes even though I can’t understand what’s being said. They seem to be having a good time.

@ Agrestic (from yesterday) I was commenting on the cancellation of Sabado Gigante, saying it was ratings not PC idiots complaining about the depiction of women. I was properly corrected by comicsboi that it was really the host that decided to end it, still high in the ratings. And then you come out of left field with, "So are you saying nobody should have argued with numbers when the vast majority of white folks in the South were in favor of slavery and then segregation? Yeah, I guess you’re right. Abolitionism and the Civil Rights Movement were both just so much PC crap." Where did that come from? All I can say is, Eh???

Wait for it…

Just like yesterday… the folks where I work are mostly Hispanic, so they watch a lot of Spanish language TV. Never seen Sabado Gigante, I don’t work Saturdays, But I see a lot of El Gordo y la Flaca, plenty of soccer, and a few telenovelas. They’re about as good, or as bad as American soap operas used to be.

I don’t care as long as there are gals in skimpy clothes. Or not!
