If Trump goes through with his mass deportation plans, who will pick crops? Who will do the cleaning in hotels and office buildings? Who will do the grunt work in home buildings and remodels? Who will do the prep work in restaurant and institutional kitchens? It is one thing to deport the minority of undocumented immigrants who commit crimes, but we can’t drive out the hard working immigrants who want a better life for their families and who do the work you and I won’t do. Not for what they’re paid anyway. No one is going to pay $25.00 for a head of lettuce!
Trump is still trying to find a way to blame Santa Ana winds on immigrants. He claims we don’t know how to fight fires in California. If he knows a way to stop 100 mph winds, he should have used it when hurricanes were passing through Florida.
