But Marlene Dietrich’s daughter refused to listen to her mother, which is how she found out that they both slept with John Kennedy.

(The character from the comic looks vaguely like Dietrich, whose daughter Maria Riva actually published her mother’s diaries. Riva had a brief wartime involvement with JFK, whose family were friends with Dietrich, and there is evidence to suggest that Dietrich herself slept with him.)
