How is this depressing? The girl gets to do what she wants now and with nothing to stop her. I see this as a cautionary tale to all the parents who try to make their children conform to their expectations.
This is a very sad story. The parents should offer her opportunities to find her passion and then support it. Now, they have lost their child. Unimaginably sad.
