It’s been 34 years since quitting a 3 pack a day cold turkey. Couldn’t say I quit until 6 years ago.The method was simple, but brutal, I kept telling my self I could have one in 5 mins if I really couldn’t do with out it. That five mins I didn’t have one, so I’d tell myself that again. So 5 mins at a time no cigarettes was the key. And some days I still want one.

I’m a newbie, only 10 months quit after 35 years, but danm glad I did. And I’ve not even had a craving or desire for once since about 3 months.
