Some of the nicest gardens are found in cemeteries, which are cool, green havens amid urban concrete sprawl…. I have a cemetery as my condo’s “back yard,” and another nearby also.

For almost 50 years, my grandmother lived in a location where her back door opened into a cemetery. Hard to think of more quiet, better-behaved neighbors.

Maybe it is his Mom’s grave…

I wonder what Lio is intending to plant. I don’t know if man-eating-plants would go over well.

Indeed, why not? It allows Mom to be involved, and it’s something he can do for her. (I rather suspect that the cross marker is Mom’s.)

Making gardens of cemeteries would be a far better use than their current function.
