I think pop-up books are great fun! Is that a real cream pie or just shaving foam?

I had heard that, but have never seen any stills or footage.The scene was cut before the release of the movie as a result of JFK’s assassination, for the end of the scene was the American President (Peter Sellers) being hit by a pie and someone shouting “The President has been struck down!”I like the ending they did better, tho.’ Funny as a pie fight sounds, it’s a little over the top for a film like that.

Not sure what the look on his face is under the pie but I think if it was a section on bombs and one blew up in his face he would be over joyed or exasperated.
