Americans don’t know their own history. Being divided, bickering, name calling and politicians acting like children have been the norm since 1774. Look up the election between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson for ‘fake news’.
In a Democracy, or a Republic, the majority wins, which means the minority loses. That is divided. It is what our Founders INTENDED. It is what makes us grow. It is what makes us move forward, even after moving backward occasionally.
The First Amendment gives us a free press, not a one source government doctrine center. It is the American Citizen who is charged with the responsibility to separate the fly stuff from the pepper. If you want to sit back and be told what to believe, like most all of FOX ‘news’ audience, then you get what you deserve.
