Does this mean she shares the profit with her mother who probably paid for the supplies and made the lemonade?

There is a kid that could run a restaurant without the need for Gordon Ramsey. 1/2 gallon of lemonade take 6 lemons at .59 cents a piece or 1 cup of lemon juice. One cup sugar at .17 cents a cup and seven cups of water. For a grand total of $3.71 for on half gallon of lemonade. Add to that the cost of 8 oz disposable cups at .07 cents each and you are looking at $3.79 total

There are eight, eight ounce cups of lemonade in that half gallon meaning that the little girl will make $8.00 after spending $3.79 leaving a profit of $4.21. Not too bad kid. Not to bad.

There’s the city small business license, the cost of the sterilization equipment to satisfy the health department inspectors, the mandatory training and fees to obtain a state lemonade server license…

consumers will obviously be happy to absorb all your business costs in the form of high prices. at least, that’s what japanese farmers seem to think. they call overpriced produce “value added.” consumers call it “too expensive”… ☺
