    We have two thermostats in our house. Mine is marked off in degrees Fahrenheit; my wife’s has two settings: too hot and too cold.

    When I leave the house my wife turns the thermostat all the way up to 65…

    O.K. quick thought…will turning the heat fan on your car up full in the morning on a really cold morning warm the interior faster? Or will leaving it on low allow the air being warmed by the heater core get hotter by being in the core longer? Volume of air moving versus heat transfer…

    let the debate begin…

    How timely! I’m awaiting the arrival of the furnace technician. Hopefully he’ll arrive before I freeze solid. Meanwhile, lots of fresh baked goods at my place, it’s the only way to keep the house warm.

    I worked in A/C and you would be surprised how many people believe that, or maybe you wouldn’t.

    She’s holding the pickaxe, so I’d agree with whatever she said…
