    For most of the country, the “Have you seen me” milk cartons only lasted a few years. They weren’t really working, but were causing kids anxiety every morning at breakfast. Yet the trope lives on.

    Love the recursion. As my first computer graphics project (way back when), I made an “If you can draw this matchbook” cover for a book of matches as a fake Famous Matchbook Artist School ad, with a similar recursion. I distributed hundreds of them from a tobacco booth at a Renaissance Faire in southern California. Not sure anyone noticed but I had my fun.
