Somewhere, years ago, I read of abbreviations in notes doctors use in patients’ charts (I think it had to be some kind of a joke.) One of them seemed to fit me very well – SKON (some kind of nut.)
I have doctors and nurses in the family, ewww is not part of their vocabulary but one cousin who is an ER RN would just blurt out Gross, laugh then say oops sorry.
