my daughter has twins and a single and they have that angst all the time in their house. First it was because the twins really were happy with just the two of them and didn’t want a “baby” in the house and now it is with the single because he is 5 years younger and they don’t have anything in common with him. It is one constant fight.
My nephew was 2 when he got a baby sister. She’d been home for about 5 hours and he was being really sweet and cute. Then he said, “OK, take it back now.”

Sounds a little like Marvin and his dog when Marvin’s parents brought him home.

This makes it seem like their relationship is more good-natured teasing.
I love that they have conversations through the walls, used to do the same thing with my sister with the heater vents. :’)

I’m glad I could never relate to this dynamic. I was really happy to get a sister and we’re great friends to this day.
