It IS frustrating, though, when you DO take the time in a shoe store to leave them on your feet and walk around the store for 15 minutes and they feel amazing. But once you get them home and wear them in “real life”, they pinch and hurt and give you blisters. How is that possible?
One of my all time favorite Luann strips. Around the time of it’s publication I bought my toddler daughter a pair of Nikes or some popular brand for about 40 bucks (on sale) at the mall one Saturday when Debbie was at work. Jennifer outgrew them in less than two weeks. Debbie wanted to strangle me with the shoelaces! She STILL hasn’t let me live that one down.
