Only physical maturity comes with a woman’s first period. Mental and emotional maturity come when they are forced on a woman when she has her first baby (if it comes at all).
Maturity is a bit messed up biologically in our country due to the various medications in our water that they cannot filter out. Mental maturity maybe can be taught.

Getting your first . has nothing to do with maturity. It just means your body is growing up. You can be 80 years old and immature.
