Too bad Nancy is not a friend of Cathy from the Guiswite strips. A while back in that comic Cathy took Irving to the local mall to get some new blue jeans and the store had a minimum of 500 types and brands to choose from where upon seeing that Irv should have just went down to the Ruby Tuesday (they were still open when Guiswite put out the strip in the 2000s) and pounded quality beverages with the other husbands and boyfriends until Cathy extracted him but he stayed and fought through it. Frank is in for a “fun” afternoon.
And just look at the condition of these jeans they are selling. they have more holes in them than the ones you want me to replace. I thought this clothing store sold new clothes, not rags. i think i could find jeans in better shape at the Salvation Army store
Buy jeans, an ironing board, and an angle grinder at a surplus store and fashion to your own taste. Anybody in hardware or automotive can tell you what the stains on jeans are.
I used to get Levi’s for $4.50, of course, Dickies were $2.00, which is what my Dad gave me for jeans. I had to fork over the other $2.50 out of my own money. It seemed unfair at the time but now that I’ve raised two kids not so much.

My first pair of button fly Levis cost $6.95. Of course that was back when $6.95 was a lot of money. :)

A few months ago I got a set of three jeans for about $12 off of eBay. They’ve been disintegrating since I got them.

I buy jeans at Costco. Usually about $20. I refuse to pay $60+ for jeans.

30 years ago the Jean manufacturer convinced everyone they were cool and the price took off. They are still jeans.
