The best thing Gunther ever did was later, getting RID of those “windshield” eyeglasses. ;-)

Hey in 2024 the G-Man is on a scholarship to Moony in engineering, has some sort of undergrad TA (do not exist in most colleges) and a hot looking GF who used to be an influencer on social media. Knute on the other hand is probably living in his Mom’s basement and working the overnight shift at Wienie World after dropping out of community college and getting dumped by Crystal who is now dating either Zebo or Nil (just conjecture here y’all). Point is, with the exception of Irma and Al Grey being a bit too controlling of our young lad Gunther, he is not doing too bad as a college sophomore/junior.

I was out the local pier when a German tourist asked me to photograph her with her friend. After I obliged, she asked if she could photograph me. She said she liked “my look”. How could I refuse? It was the nicest thing anyone said to me in years.

I can imagine her back in Germany. “This is a Californian. He knows about sea lions.”

Best lesson learned. Like yourself. Do not change yourself to fit someone else’s vision.
