Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for April 10, 1989
Transcript:
Dad: ...i dunno. I just don't feel Luann is mature enough to have pierced ears. Mom: Baloney. Mom: Babies have pierced ears these days, Frank. It's no big deal. You're forcing Luann to feel unattractive, left out and childish. i think you've being very insensitive and unfair. Dad: Why do I fell as though I'm losing this one? Mom: You're not losing, honey. You've lost.
I have a trick. When I’m wrong, I admit it straight away. There’s no big scene, so no one remembers it. When my fiance is wrong he fights it until the evidence is clearly and unambiguously in his hand. It works out that, in his memory, I am always right.
