Mom: So how's the study slumber party going? Are you girls actually doing an hour of studying like you promised? Luann: Stud- oh! Yup! Studying. Yup. Sure are. Mom: Well, good. I'm proud of you, Honey. You've handled this in a sensible, responsible way. I know how you girls are- you could've all gotten wild and silly and ended up- Luann: Whoop-look! Did I leave the fridge door open?!
I give her an extra week in her room for not asking mom for help once she knows she needs it.
