Frank asks, "Where's Brad?" Nancy answers, "He took Diane to the monster truck rally." Luann remarks, "What, he things she'll like that?" At the truck rally, Brad asks, ".. You don't like this?" Diane, annoyed, says, "Brad, don't you recall one Saturday last June when you mentioned a truck rally and I said - very bored- 'hmm'? How could you not have picked up on that?"
Maybe the same way she didn’t pick up on Shakespeare not being his thing.
