Miss Phelps summarizes, "Here's the situation, Tiffany. If you make up your essay assignment in MR. Fogarty's class, you can stay on the cheerleading squad." Tiffany says, "Okeydokey." Miss P says, "All right. Then. Report to Mr. Fogarty at lunchtime." Tiffany says, "Lunch?! But that's my prime social hour! That's when I work the room, make the connections, collect gossip!" Miss P says, "Well, Tiffany, you'll just have to choose between being popular and being a cheerleader." Tiffany grabs her head and mutters, "This can't be happening to me."
