Miguel says:"The Ricky Martin concert, it is this weekend, Luann, I gave to you the tickets for your birthday,Luann, I gave you the tickets for your birthday, yes?" Luann says:"Ricky Martin..." "Tickets..hm.." She pretends not to remember. Luann looks at Ricky Martin's poster on the wall and says:"Oh! Right I remember now"
It would be refreshing if, just once, a character in the popular media would be depicted as having musical tastes atypical of the popular stereotype of a particular demographic. But here we have to have “I’m a 16-year-old girl so of course I have to go into heat over Ricky Martin.” (Who, as has been since disclosed, wouldn’t be likely to reciprocate with her.)
