Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for August 27, 2000
Transcript:
Luann lies on her bed with Puddles, talking into a tape recorder. She says, "Well, diary, it's August and I've had the world's boringest summer ... again." She continues, "How come I never get my act together? Why don't I ever think ahead and PLAN my summer?" Luann continues, "Everyone else did fun, interesting, productive stuff, and wha'd I do? Don't ask." She continues, "Guess I can chalk up another useless, wasted summer." Nancy enters Luann's room, which is a mess. She carries a bucket of cleaning supplies and says, "Not yet! Mom to the rescue!! Yaaay!"
