This is one of the things I hate about rental cars. Aside from all the other things I have to find/get used to, I have to see what side the gas tank is on.
I’ve owned the same car for 5 years and I still do that!
My two cars are on opposite sides and I forget which is which.
Senior moment!
I always pull up on the wrong side, I’m so used to stretching the hose over that it felt very strange last week when for one I pulled in right,
Been there, done that.
Cars now have little arrows next to the fuel gauge to show which side to fill from.
I did that when got gas for the first time after getting my license.
