Brad: "I had big dreams when I was a kid. I believed I could fly and was invincible" Brad: "I believed I could slay monsters with my amazing super strength" Brad: "...I thought I'd be a firefighter forever..." Brad: "Now I'm an ex-firefighter cleaning up messes at Weenieworld. What happened to all my great dreams?" Toni: "They're right here"
Still say this is unrealistic. If Brad had been in a non-service profession, say, secretarial, or construction, or something like that, then yes, this economy would see him working in a fast food joint after a lay-off. But a firefighter? No. He could apply to another nearby city, or go back to being an EMT, there are no real shortages of those jobs, but there ARE a shortage of qualified people for them. Just can’t believe in this storyline.
