Jughead, Ann IS a “Black Widow” TYPE! – She has NO problems with playing games that would get the “average person” brought up on sexual harrassment charges, equating her ‘work-status’ as ‘power’!

Brad is so innocent it’s going to take a lot to get him moving the way Ann wants. Since Toni never shows so much as an ankle, it’s surprising Brad desn’t stray glances to the yummy legs just inches away.

Ann Eiffel, a hottie? Only in the sense that Tiffany Farrel is a hottie. Physical appearance ONLY, but devious and self-centered. Obviously, Ann is setting him up – she parks him on a low chair, then perches on the edge of the desk so that she’s got Brad looking and thinking what she wants. THEN she asks his intentions – bait and switch – moves off the desk, mentions his job, and delivers the punch. Not a knockout, but a telling blow – Brad had a guilty grin as he attempts to recover.

I sense a sexual harassment suit in Ann Eiffel’s near future.

Nah – She is going up in the corporation and wants him to be manager. I once hired in a company and after three days they insisted I was the manager to the point I quit. It was a horrible place to work and being manager would not have improved anything.

Several weeks ago, on his blog, Evans already said that this story line would involve a “major confrontation” between Toni and Ann Eiffel. He also said it would not involve violence, though he drew a cartoon of the two women fighting. They were evenly matched.Oh well, I’m no longer really interested in this comic anyway. If only Dirk were back again.

I think they all need to advance their relationships. Brad get the proposal out to his girl. etc. so his boss can’t try to suduce him or what ever her plans are. I’m not getting any younger. LOL

I have been proved wrong and aknowledge it. I truely didn’t believe that Ann was interested in Bernice. It DOES, however, appear that she is also interested in Brad. I believe that those who said that her true interest is the power trip over subordinates were the correct ones. There is no romantic interest; just conquest.

This strip has only one gay cast memeber and that is Brad’s captain from the fire house. Ann doesn’t qualify as her target is subordinates. The gender is not important.

Obvious …Brad thinks she’s saying what she really wants, so he’s relieved that he’s only being asked about the job. It’s OK for short term and a young man doesn’t want to be laying around (like Momma’s son).

Gotta admit – Ann is good. Give Brad a long look at the gams; maybe a peek up the skirt; then she slides off the desk (a trick that always causes the hem to rise) and turns her back to him to give him a good view of her back side. All the while she is talking in double meanings to see if he will pick up on her full-court-press. Wake up Brad! Do you need a brick to hit you in the head?!

She will want him to contract that he won’t return to firefighting.

Contract? Did you ever see a fast food employment application. They don’t ask much and they don’t pay much. No contracts – ever.

It’s a fast food joint. Not a huge business corporation. If anything, having him there and his friends visiting will help boost paying customers. When I worked in a fast food place some of my friends didn’t even know about, but they certainly knew about it after I worked there, and loved the food. Ann is just being stupid and will probably ruin this career of hers, as I assume she did the last one, with making her employees lives like crap. And Brad will take over. LOL Wouldn’t that be icing on the cake?!?!

Here’s hoping Brad keeps on playing dumb (for him, it’s not an act), so that Ann has to spell it out for him. Sadly, he’s so dumb it’s unlikely he’ll be able to her advances against her. And like 99% of young men (I was one of them), he’ll fall for her advances, invalidating any case he might have against her. And anyway, people at Brad’s level are completely expendable in an org like WW. Ann will just find another boy toy.

The answer to Ann Eiffel’s question is “no.” Brad is in the same situation I’m in, he only took this job because he lost his fire-fighting job. If he can get that job back he’ll leave Ann Eiffel w/o even a 2 weeks notice.

If I were Brad, I would place both hand on Ann’s desk and lean over her and say, “Well Ms. Eiffel; am I performing my duties satisfactorally; or perhaps there are more tasks for which you think I might be well suited.” That is what I would do. I seriously doubt that Brad would.

Weeks from now, given the pacing. The one good thing about Brad’s being so obtuse is that he can probably easily deflect anything Ann throws at him (except the most overt moves) by just standing around and/or grinning maniacally.

Brad is “loyal” to Toni in that he wouldn’t cheat on her sexually, no matter what the view of Ann on the desk may be, but he’s already compromised his relationship to keep Ann happy.

Remember he’s already been maneuvered into a posiiton of asking Toni to leave WW so as not to make Ann mad. Ann knew just what she was doing, too. Brad was so fixated on keeping his crappy job that he didn’t think twice about asking his girl to take a back seat to placating his unreasonable boss.

Calling this Weenie World hits on so many levels.
