Brad: "Toni's made it clear she doesn't want to talk about marriage. I respect her wishes" TJ: "Oh. So you're waiting 'til she says, "Ok, you can ask me now"?" TJ: "Brad, my plan for April Fool's day is perfect! You can ask Toni to marry you with NO RISK!" Brad: "My plan" and "No risk" don't belong in the same sentence, TJ!" TJ: "The way you're goin' "Brad" And "Toni" won't either"
In the last panel, we see the light turn on in Brad’s, sometimes, thick skull. Brad needs to remember the old saying, that a faint heart never won a fair lady. /// A strong woman, which Toni is, will oft times say no in order to test the deepness of the love of her suitor. /// Winning a woman’s heart is sometimes akin to chopping down a mighty Oak tree. You take that first whack and you only see a tiny nick in the trunk. But if you keep swinging. The tree/your beloved will eventually fall at your feet!
