Seems like I lose a favorite comic strip every few weeks because the artist feels the need to go from humor based to “making a statement” based. Here’s a hint Mr. Pett – just because you have a forum doesn’t mean you have to use it. I know it doesn’t mean much but I , for one , am done reading your strip

Please tell me Elvin doesn’t vote. Totally unaware that the salary of the president is set by the Constitution and it doesn’t matter who is in the office, or whether he performs his Constitutional duties or not.
People get paid based on their worth and experience by the company. The length of time you’ve been working there counts because you have more experience. How much you accomplish/ day, (or how hard you work) also factors in. If there is a difference in pay—-the reasons are NOT sexist or racist, they are proved in reality.
Question—- if we both had the same job title, and you did minimum work, or were a “newbie”…why should you expect the same pay as me? (Assuming that I’ve worked there for years, and I work hard all day.) You have to see that management really does know who is producing, and who is shirking.
