I promised myself when I got into cartooning that I was not going to pile on with the old ‘family buys a live turkey, can’t bring themselves to kill it, adopts it as a pet and has pizza for Thanksgiving’ gag. Maria’s Dad bought a frozen one in the supermarket. It’s not a pet. It; snot their buddy. But it IS tender this year, so that’s good.
