I hope nobody turns on a can opener.

That is our dog ! Can here a bag of chips opening from across the house ;-)

My Baldurdash is sort of like Charlie Brown’s owner Snoopy: the only dog that can hear you eating marshmallows. In Dash’s case, that’s from the far back fence with all the doors and windows closed, and the washer running.

Sort of happens to me…I can be asleep, but if someone is cooking something delicious, I wake right up!

One of the dogs my recently deceased wife and I lost last year was deaf and he would “wake” up every few minutes to look around and see if everything was normal and that meant was someone eating. Another one we lost last year loved bananas and she could hear me “open” one and would come flying from the other room to get some. Sadly I had to have our last dog euthanized yesterday because his nasal tumor started bleeding and even though I knew it was coming it still hurts.

Easier to sneak sunup past a rooster!

The nose never sleeps…

Our ‘Marm’ has a 24/7, 365 day-a-year nose ! ! ! !
