As our female Rottweiler got older, she’d sleep on a large piece of foam. I’d take an old beach towel and drape it over her, she’d give out this big sigh of contentment. She was comfy and warm.
Our Great Dane loves my parents bed, so when I got a new mattress she got the old one. She even puts her head on a pillow! ^^ Unfortunately she still prefers my parents bed, so when my mom gets up in the morning, she hops up and stays until my dad gets up.
Ella Rose comes to bed with me, some nights she just curls up, I will read until I fall asleep – last night she plopped mostly on my side, had to move her to get in bed, once I was in, she moved to where her head was on my tummy and from then until 4:30 am she hit every position possible, mostly one where her feet smacked me in the face when she moved – love that girl to bits, but at 4:30 (still awake) I woke her got her on the couch and gave her a cookie and said Good night, go to sleep, which she did – some nights she just isn’t compatible to have on the bed – need a king size bed – she’s not a huge dog, only about 50 pounds, but she can take up the space of a much larger dog.

Whoever said having a pet helps you to live longer did not know Marmaduke.

I’m surprised Marmaduke doesn’t have his own king size bed and blankets. Yip yip yip yip yip
