Cuddly but BIG!

Mugged by affection!

All of our dogs thought they were lap dogs. The Rottweilers were especially cuddlesome, even though they all weighed 120 lbs/54 kg. The English Mastiff who weighed 245 lbs/111kg, wanted to be a lap dog, but was simply too big. So I’d get sit in the floor and he’d rest his head in my lap enjoying the ear rubs he got.

Jaws-of-Death, my 95 lb. gentle-as-a-lamb pittie, would love so much to be able to curdle up on someone’s lap. He has to settle for putting his head there, and it completely fills it up.

German Shepherds are like this, too. But not in a dark alley somewhere at night!

We have had bigger dogs, Labs, German Shepards,and now we have NewfieLabs. They all wanted to sit on our laps as puppies, the GSDs knew that when they got bigger that it just was not going to work out on our laps, but the Labs and now the NewfieLabs all wanted to cuddle on our laps. Part of the perks with dogs like that.

Marm needs trading not to jump on people

I knew several rotties like that. I was smaller than them, but they wanted all of themself on my lap.

Marm ….. your so lovable …………. but Got to get a bigger chair ……….. :)
