Charlie until recently I used to make $18,000 and let me tell you its hard to live off of that. I lived in the Hood, ate cup of noodles, drank Ritz soda, the dollar menu was a luxury, and I had to shop at goodwill.
I still didn’t have insurance. I couldn’t afford it.
To say that a poor man needs to pay for-profit health insurance first before he can eat is ludicrous. Your train of thought makes no sense.
Also if your house burns down and have no insurance you can start over again. If your body catches cancer and u have no health insurance you’re pretty much dead.
